In partnership with Sammamish Friends of the Library and Sammamish Kiwanis, the city of Sammamish will host eight KidsFirst! events this summer.

This concert series targets elementary- and preschool-aged children and their families.

The concerts, which take place at various Sammamish locations July through August, last approximately one hour and feature musicians, storytellers and other entertainers.

Residents are encouraged to bring blankets to spread on the grass and to come enjoy the fun.

August 18: Daring Dreams in Times of Magic, Multi-cultural storytelling, City Hall Plaza, 2-3 p.m.

August 21: Eric Herman and the Thunder Puppies, Music, Ebright Creek Park, Noon
