‘The Nutcracker’

Sammamish’s own Kristen Lierzapf and Kirstin Allison join visiting Russian dancers from the Kirov Ballet in St. Petersburg in the International Ballet Theatre’s classical production of “The Nutcracker” through Dec. 23 at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue. IBT’s production honors the original style and character of the ballet as it was first created by Tchaikovsky and Marius Petipa in St. Petersburg in 1892. Pediatric care drive

LearningRx, 195 NE Gilman Blvd., Suite 100, Issaquah, is accepting donations for the Pediatric Interim Care Center Nursery in Kent. The support of these items helps provide immediate, short-term medical care between hospital and home for medically fragile infants suffering from prenatal drug exposure. There is a need for cotton or terry sleepers with snap front, disposable diapers, Johnson’s Baby Powder, and Johnson’s Baby Shampoo, and other items.
