A motorcycle driver was killed on Saturday, March 20 when his motorcycle hit a pick-up truck, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office.
The driver, 57 year-old Issaquah resident Kenneth Earl Solders, died at the scene. He was wearing a full-face helmet.
The accident occurred about 1:15 p.m.
A 2005 Toyota Tundra was eastbound on Tiger Mountain Road. The 18 year-old driver, also from Issaquah, made a left-hand turn onto 241st Place SE and apparently did not the see westbound motorcycle, which struck the right rear of the truck.
The King County Medical Examiner ruled the death an accident, caused by blunt force injuries to the head, neck, torso and extremities.
There was no evidence of drugs or alcohol. The investigation is continuing.
