April 24

PASSING NOTES: An officer responded to a parking lot on the 700 block of Northwest Gilman Boulevard to meet with the owner of a parked car. The owner gave the officer a note that said its author had witnessed a car back into the vehicle. The officer examined the car, which only had minor scratches on a passenger side bumper.

PLATE: A license plate was reported stolen from a vehicle parked on the 700 block of Front Street South.

MEDS: Medication was reported stolen from a location on the 800 block of Front Street South.

April 25

VEHICLE PROWL: A blanket and cell phone chargers were reported stolen from a Toyota parked on the 100 block of Southeast Bush Street.

SYRINGES: City workers located five syringes while picking up trash on the Rainier Trail south of the skate park. An officer arrived on scene and confiscated the syringes, disposing of them in a biohazard container.

WARRANT: A 32-year-old Federal Way man was arrested on the 700 block of Northwest Gilman Boulevard over the course of a police call looking into solicitors in the area.

PASSED OUT: An officer responded to a man lying face down in the hallway of an apartment complex on the 700 block of Front Street South. The officer was able to wake the man up; he appeared heavily intoxicated. He said he lived in the apartment he had passed out in front of. He unlocked the door and went inside under officer supervision.

April 26

BUSTED: A 32-year-old Seattle man was arrested for auto theft on the 500 block of Southeast Andrews Street.

DOMESTIC: A 31-year-old Kirkland man was arrested for domestic violence, third-degree malicious mischief and exposing a minor to domestic violence. The incident occurred on the 1800 block of 15th Place Northwest.

April 27

BURGLARY: More than $11,000 of tools were reported stolen from an address on the 400 block of East Sunset Way.

BONZAI: A bonzai tree was reported stolen from the 500 block of Southeast Bush Street.

THEFT: A computer, USB charger and briefcase were reported stolen from a vehicle parked on the 1000 block of Northwest Gilman Boulevard. A window was damaged, presumably during the theft.

April 28

LIFTED: Helium tanks and a generator were reported stolen from an address on the 22800 block of Southeast Black Nugget Road.

FOUND: An officer recovered a wallet found by a good Samaritan in the Safeway parking lot and returned it to its owner.

April 29

MISCHIEF: A 44-year-old Issaquah man was arrested for malicious mischief after police investigated a verbal domestic argument at a location on the 200 block of Newport Way Northwest.

SKIMMED: More than $6,000 of boating equipment was stolen from a location on the 6000 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast.

April 30

SHATTERED: A window was reported broken in a possible case of malicious mischief on the 4200 block of 187th Avenue Southeast.

NOT EVEN A DOLLAR: A 25-year-old Bellevue man was arrested for the attempted theft of a 75-cent donut from a location on the 100 block of Front Street South.
