University House show opens Saturday

"Wheels, Wings, and Waterways: Art in Motion," an art exhibition featuring watercolors, oil and acrylic paintings, photographs, textiles, ceramics and sculptures, will open this Saturday, July 24, at University House retirement community in Issaquah, 22975 SE Black Nugget Road.

“Wheels, Wings, and Waterways: Art in Motion,” an art exhibition featuring watercolors, oil and acrylic paintings, photographs, textiles, ceramics and sculptures, will open this Saturday, July, 24 at University House retirement community in Issaquah, 22975 SE Black Nugget Road.

Curated by Charlotte Beall, this group exhibition includes works by artists from a number of prominent local galleries, including Fountainhead Gallery, Grover/Thurston Gallery, G.Gibson Gallery, Parklane Gallery, and Smith&Vallee Gallery.

The public is invited to view “Wings, Wheels, and Waterways: Art in Motion” at its opening reception from 2 – 4 p.m. on July 24.

The exhibition will be on display through October 10.
