Eastlake earned a three-set — 25-17, 25-17, 25-18 — victory over Lake Washington Wednesday night.

Alyssa Charlston threw down a team-best seven kills, while Natalie Wang contributed five. Taylor Finlon had 10 digs for the Wolves.

Eastlake moved to 5-5 in league and 6-6 overall with the victory. They close the regular season out at 7 p.m., Monday, Oct. 26 at home against Plateau rival Skyline.

Skyline slams Garfield

Skyline defeated Garfield in four sets Wednesday night — 25-22, 23-25, 25-18, 25-19. Olivia Marquardt had 15 kills, Maddie Magee had 12, and Paige Haas had eight. Setter Megan Clark had 39 assists for the Spartans, while Amy Ziegler had five blocks.

Skyline, which won its third match in its last four attempts, improved to 6-4 in league and 6-7 overall. The Spartans travel to Eastlake at 7 p.m., Monday, Oct. 26 to close out the regular season.

Eagles rebound from tough loss

Issaquah defeated Inglemoor Wednesday night — 25-23, 25-14, 22-25, 25-17 — bouncing back from a tough loss Monday to Bothell.

The Eagles were led by setter Riley Sorenson’s 52 assists. Rachel Roeder and Sara Hanna each had 14 kills apiece, while Stephanie Stoll had 12, and Alyssa Schultz had 10. The Eagles improved to 8-2 in league and 8-5 overall. They close out the regular season at 7 p.m., Monday, Oct. 26 at home against Newport.

Crusaders drop second straight

Eastside Catholic dropped its second straight match Wednesday night, falling in four sets — 31-29, 25-18, 20-25, 25-23 — to Seattle Prep.

The Crusaders were led by Brooke Bachesta’s career-high 31 kills. Kelsey Miller had 38 assists and 14 digs, while Sarah Pancotinne had a team-high 19 digs. Eastside Catholic was still without two of its top outside hitters Kameron McLain and Cami Silverman. The Crusaders ended their regular season with a 6-4 league and 9-4 overall record, in third place of the Metro Mountain division. Playoffs begin next week.
