The Issaquah Chamber of Commerce education committee will host its third annual Great Careers Conference at Mary Queen of Peace in Sammamish from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
The conference is for 10th-12th graders from the Issaquah School District who are interested in learning more about how a certificate or two-year degree can benefit their careers.
Interested students are encouraged to speak with their career counselors and sign up for the free event online.
Students from Issaquah, Skyline, Liberty and Tiger high schools will be bussed to the event. The chamber expects approximately 300 attendees.
There are three sessions throughout the day.
Topics discussed range from business, to gaming and aerospace careers. There are about 20 different topics.
