Members of the Seattle Mariners visited Sunny Hills Elementary School in Sammamish on Tuesday to talk about the need to stay drug-free and to respect themselves. It was one of several visits the Mariners make each year to schools in the Seattle-area.

Mariners in attendance included broadcaster Rick Rizzs, pitchers Hisashi Iwakuma, Brandon Maurer and Dominic Leone and outfielder Cole Gillespie.

Rizzs and the players presented the Mariner Moose D.R.E.A.M. Team assembly to students in grades K-5. In addition to the message about Drugs and Respect, team members also talked about the need for students to focus on the Education, keep a positive Attitude and stay Motivated (D.R.E.A.M.).
