The Sammamish Plateau Water and Sewer District has lifted its request issued Feb. 10, for customers in the Trossachs and Aldarra Neighborhoods to conserve water use due to a sewer pump failure at the Trossachs Lift Station.

The district asked customers to conserve water during the sewer emergency. Customers may now use water normally.

Repairs and cleanup are progressing at the Trossachs lift station and crews are assessing the extent of the damage to the pump, facilities and the electrical system. Repairs to the pump will continue throughout the week and early next week.

There was no threat to the drinking water supply, since the water and sewer systems operate separately.

The district is continuing the activation of its emergency operations center and has staff on site 24- hours to monitor the situation.

The district’s 24-hour emergency line is (425) 392-6256. Updates will be posted at www.spwsd.org and on SPWSD Facebook and Twitter sites.
