Issaquah History Museums holding final hike of season Saturday

History Hike Leader Doug Bristol is making his final hike for the Issaquah History Museums’ “Olde Town Mine History Hike” Saturday, Nov. 15. Hikers are invited to challenge this moderate hike with Bristol when it departs from the Issaquah Depot Museum at 10:30 a.m.

An iconic program for the Issaquah History Museums will be making one final hike for the 2014 season.

History Hike Leader Doug Bristol is making his final hike for the Issaquah History Museums’ “Olde Town Mine History Hike” Saturday, Nov. 15. Hikers are invited to challenge this moderate hike with Bristol when it departs from the Issaquah Depot Museum at 10:30 a.m.

The route, beginning at the depot, will loop around the Issaquah Creek Dam and Mine Hill. Hikers are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes, and to bring water and snacks. Hikers will hike on gravel and paved trails with some steep sections. Registrants are asked to leave dogs at home.

Pre-registration is required. Tickets are $5 plus fees, while tickets for museum members are $3 plus fees. For more information, call 425-392-3500.
