The Washington Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is asking drivers to plan ahead if they will be crossing Lake Washington this week. WSDOT will close all lanes of I-90 between Island Crest Way and Interstate 5 at various times from Thursday, Aug. 5 through Sunday, Aug. 8 to accommodate the Blue Angel practices and performances.
To keep congestion to a minimum, drivers are asked to use an alternate route such as I-405 or SR-520. If you must cross Lake Washington using the I-90 bridge, WSDOT requests that you arrive at the bridge an hour before closing.
For more information, please see the WSDOT website.
