The following information was compiled from city of Issaquah police report:

An art academy was reportedly graffitied Aug. 2 with the word “Luna” in black.

By time police arrived, the owner had removed the graffiti from the 100 block of Front Street North, but he left three black finger prints that were left from when the tagger touched the paint and then the wall.

However, police were unable to lift the fingerprints, because of the porous surface.

Drugs in the courtroom

Police booked a man for having a baggy of marijuana in his pockets, after a judge sentenced him to spend time in the Issaquah jail Aug. 5.

Police found the drugs on the man after a standard search before he entered the jail.

When police asked him about the drugs, he told them he forgot they were in his pants when he put them on that morning, and then said to police, “That was really stupid to go to court with it in my pocket.”

Suspicious tractor

A neighbor called police saying that a man was suspiciously driving a tractor at Issaquah Christian Church around the property Aug. 7.

When police arrived they found out it was just a volunteer moving some pea gravel around for the playground. He wanted it to be all ready for Vacation Bible School monday morning.
