Congratulations to Issaquah’s Tom Craig, who was recently honored by his employer, Hilton Hotels, for his positive work attitude and spirit.

Craig is the hotel’s maintenance engineer.

Those in the Hilton organization knew they had to reward Craig for his exemplary work, after several testimonials from guests praised him for going above and beyond the call of duty.

For him, receiving the “Spirit of Hilton Garden Inn” award was more than just a pat on the back – he received a check for $300, as well as the recognition of his peers and a plaque documenting his achievement.

“It’s great working here,” Craig said. “Even though my experience is in the more industrial side, it’s nice in the winter to be indoors.” Modestly he said all of his colleagues are great when it comes to customer service — he just “happened to be in the right place at the right time to get noticed.”
