Crumbl Cookies, which was founded by two cousins who were on a quest to make the perfect cookie, is celebrating the grand opening of its Sammamish location.
Cookie monsters are invited to attend the celebration, which is taking place from 8 a.m. until midnight at 604 228th Avenue NE. Owners of the Sammamish store are Anthony Meadowcroft, Britney Duenas, Sebastian Brost and Deshaun Hollis.
“In February 2022, I decided to join Crumbl as a manager for our first location in Lakewood, Washington,” said Duenas. “Best decision ever! Now with the Sammamish, I can’t wait to present you the pink box.”
Crumbl Cookies opened its first store in Logan, Utah in 2017 by founders Jason McGowan and Sawyer Hemsley, who claim to have created the world’s best chocolate chip cookie. When creating the company, the founders saw importance in allowing customers to see cookies being mixed, balled, baked and dressed in real time.
While the chocolate chip cookie and the chilled pink sugar cookie are permanent menu items, Crumbl offers a weekly rotating menu that provides four to five different flavor options. Additional cookie options include the almond coconut fudge cookie; the peanut butter nougat cookie, which is topped with pieces of Snickers; and the cornbread honey cake cookie, which is a cornbread cookie topped with sweet cream cheese frosting, a drizzle of honey and crunchy cornbread streusel.
Current store hours for the Sammamish location are:
- Sunday-Wednesday: Closed
- Thursday: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Friday-Saturday: 8 a.m. to midnight
“I’m glad to be a part of the Sammamish community,” said Hollis. “I am here to show you the world’s best bakers to the best Crumbl fans.”
Although Crumbl Cookies has been in business for five years, they have taken the nation by storm. So far, they have 632 locations across 46 states, with a total of 20 locations in the state of Washington. Their signature pink cookie boxes are also a hit on Instagram, further increasing the company’s visibility.
