Evergreen Healthcare has named Dr. David J. Likosky as the medical director of The Evergreen Neuroscience Institute.

Dr. Likosky, a member of the Evergreen Healthcare staff since 2000, is also the director of Evergreen’s stroke program, which was recognized by HealthGrades for the past two years as the best stroke program in Washington state and is among the top 5 percent of programs in the nation.

The Evergreen Neuroscience Institute, located on Evergreen’s main hospital campus in Kirkland, is comprised of four advanced treatment programs including the Booth Gardner Parkinson’s Care Center, Movement Disorders Center, Multiple Sclerosis Center and Primary Stroke Center.

Dr. Likosky is a past board member of the Evergreen Healthcare Foundation and a past president of the medical staff at Evergreen Hospital.
