Jareme Parsons was so intrigued by European sports cars when he grew up in the small Oregon community of Corvallis that his mother was not surprised when her teenage son began to tinker under the hood of her Porsche.

“Apparently my tinkering paid off, because I was hired right out of high school to work at the only garage in town approved to work on German cars,” Parsons said. “European cars are still fast and fun to drive. But they’ve come a long way since that little garage in Corvallis.”

Parsons leads the team of mechanics dedicated to exotic cars—including Land Rover, BMW, Mini, VW and Porsche–at Integrity Auto Repair on Gilman Boulevard. The team reflects the growing need for specialized service required for higher-end automobiles, according to owner Nate Bean.

“We want to offer an alternative to the expensive service at dealers in Bellevue or Seattle,” said Bean. “We’ve made a significant investment in computers and scanners so we will be able to offer the same quality of factory service at Integrity Auto Repair as any of the dealerships with the added benefits of convenience and reliability that people in Issaquah have come to expect from Integrity for the last 16 years.”

Parsons lives in North Bend and has worked on exotic cars for more than 25 years. He has been factory certified on Ferrari, Aston Martin and Spyker.

“Maserati and Ferrari are both huge right now, and they’ll grab a bigger share of the market with new models coming out this year and next,” said Parsons. “It’s important that owners bring these cars to a mechanic who understands the new generation of clutches and the dual shift transmissions used in these high-end models.”
