The Greater Issaquah Chamber of Commerce celebrated a ribbon-cutting ceremony for La-Z-Boy on April 5, as celebrity ribbon-cutter Seattle Seahawk Doug Baldwin welcomed the new business.
Chamber members gathered in the showroom with Laz-Z-Boy Seattle CEO Chris Washko and Issaquah Mayor Mary Lou Pauly to celebrate the furniture retailer’s “new concept” stores — the first one in Washington.
Washko previously told the Reporter that the company had eyed the Issaquah location for the last six years due to its tremendous growth opportunities.
In addition to furniture for living rooms, family rooms and dens and a wide range of home accessories, the Issaquah La-Z-Boy will include a bedding sub-store.
The new store is located at 628 Front St. N., at the former Staple’s location. For more information, contact the store at 425-295-6040.
