Joan Probala, a managing broker at Windermere Real Estate/East in Issaquah, has been elected 2013 president of the SEATTLE KingCounty Realtors. Joining her on the association’s leadership team are 19 other voting members, including Mike Winkler, principal managing broker, Coldwell Banker Bain Issaquah.

Probala, a real estate professional since 1990 and resident of Issaquah, has served as vice president of Governmental & Public Affairs Committee for the organization. She also serves as vice-chair of the Issaquah Planning Policy Commission, chair of the Issaquah Arts Commission, and survivor chair for the Issaquah Relay for Life.

She is a past president of the Issaquah Chamber of Commerce and Issaquah Kiwanis, roles that contributed in part to her being selected for the Issaquah Business Person of the Year award.
