MOD Pizza, which creates made-on-demand (MOD) fast casual pizza will open in the Issaquah Highlands on Oct. 5. It will be the company’s 11th store.
The Issaquah restaurant is approximately 2,200 square-feet and is located at Highlands Drive Northeast and Northeast NE Park Drive.
The MOD Pizza concept was developed in 2007 by Northwest natives Ally and Scott Svenson, who built Seattle Coffee Company in the UK before selling it to Starbucks in 1998.
Customers can select from a menu of 10 pre-designed pizzas or create their own, choosing from more than 30 featured toppings. All MOD pizzas are the same price ($7.17) regardless of the number of toppings and are baked in an 800-degree display oven within three minutes.
MOD also offers a selection of salads along with draft and bottled beer, wine, bottled soda, pizza knots, and milkshakes.
