Patrons of the Northeast Sammamish Sewer and Water District have received notice that the Sammamish City Council is considering a takeover of the water district.

We have lived in the district for 18 years and have had excellent service and quick responses to water problems at our home. I would understand if the water district was providing poor service, but this is not the case.

What is really behind this proposed takeover?
