Congratulations to Shiers for the political cartoon in Sept. 19 edition. Right on! My grandchildren need school supplies NOW – not next year.

Also, thank goodness staff writer Daniel Nash was at the recent Issaquah City Council meeting and your paper published the meeting report concerning Costco. I think it would be better if residents would pay a bit more attention to this topic so as to make an informed opinion and decision.
