Thank you for the March 22 editorial, “Money Woes.”

Life should be about our “values,” and it should be reflected in our state and federal budgets. We are only as strong, as our weakest link.” The “higher path” is always the right choice.

I was in Olympia recently with the ARC, King County Parent Coalition for the Developmentally Disabled, and the SEIU CareGivers Union, meeting with legislators. We asked our state senators, and representatives to increase benefits to those who cannot protect themselves.
