As many of you know, on Feb. 9, Issaquah School District is running three replacement and renewal levies. These levies will not raise taxes, and would continue paying for previously authorized levies. People would pay the same or lower taxes than they are currently paying.

Issaquah School District produces prepared students who are eager to accept the academic, occupational, personal, and practical challenges of life in a dynamic global environment. In order to do so, students must be technologically savvy and proficient. Let’s continue to provide our students with ample opportunities to be successful global citizens.

The replacement and renewal levy concerns transportation. If renewed, this levy will provide $1.7 million in 2011 to purchase 41 buses, helping the district buses to run safely, cleanly and efficiently. Let’s help the district’s transportation department continue its impeccable safety record.

Please vote yes for the three ISD levies.
