I would like to point out the false statements that Michael T Barr wrote (“McKenna’s nonsense,” The Reporter, April 16). He was complaining about Rob McKenna’s challenge of the Health Care bill, stating it was a Republican ploy that thwarts the will of the people.
Well guess what, the majority of the people were against this form of health care this President ramped down our throats, so his Democratic friends can get re-elected in November. We need health care reform, but not this mess the left has offered.
And in this state we all know how the will of the people is so important. That’s why we vote, say yes, then they take us to court and get the will of the people overturned. What a joke.
And please tell me what rights you lost in the patriot act, or is that another left wing conspiracy theory?
Then he wanted to know where the outrage was because the Louisiana governor threatened the Democratic Attorney General, which I have a hard time believing, but with short term memory that most on the left have, maybe he forgot how the President got this bill passed, by bribing the Louisiana Senator, called the Louisiana purchase, and Nebraska, which he promised the moon.
I say sir where was your outrage then?
