Regarding the news article on bullying and violence by Matt Phelps about how children get their ideas from TV,movies, the media, parents, other kids, video games:

If all children see and hear is violent shows, games, etc., this will be a cycle of behavior. You could and should start a lobbying group to drastically reduce (for all of us) and eliminate (for children under age 18) all this nastiness from the media that children are exposed to.

I’m an adult and even I get sick of society’s obsession with bullying and violence – not to mention that every show is about sex!

Hollywood and the media need to give it a rest and let us all return to civility!
