Congressional Republicans haven’t been receiving a very warm welcome from their constituents lately. It seems that this has our Congressman, Rep. Dave Reichert, running scared. The Republican-controlled Congress is threatening to dismantle our health care system while posing no alternative means to provide insurance to the millions currently covered under the Affordable Care Act — including my two sons and me.

Rather than meeting with his constituents and listening to our concerns, as is the purpose of Congress’ February break, Reichert has elected to hold a Facebook forum where questions are chosen beforehand and he need not look any of us in the eye. Reichert can choose not to answer to his constituents now. But Nov. 6, 2018 will be a different story.
