At 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 19, the Sammamish Farmers Market begins its third year.
We’ll have more farmers than ever, including seven certified organic growers. In all, 32 farm and food vendors will be at the Sammamish Commons, offering fruits, vegetables, cheese, milk, cream, butter, eggs, pork, beef, pasta, granola, candy, wine, flowers, ice cream, baked goods, coffee beans and prepared foods.
But there’s more than food. There’s live entertainment, too. And on the last Wednesday of every month, artisan and craft vendors will join us with offerings ranging from stoneware and porcelain to stunning photographs.
People come to the market to have fun! It’s a community gathering place where you can meet up with friends and chat and listen to live music while you enjoy dinner purchased from one of the prepared food vendors. Children, if they’re not dancing to the music or playing on the commons, get creative in the kids’ craft area. The market is even a great place to visit a nonprofit booth to learn what local charities are doing in our community.
And, this year, the city has added something new: each Wednesday, from 4 to 6 p.m., a city employee will be at the Market Information Booth to answer your questions about Sammamish.

We can’t succeed without you. So come to the Sammamish Commons and join the fun. Support the farmers and enjoy fresh, locally grown food.
