While a 80 degree plus day is always a good excuse to shed the threads, members of Fraternity Snoqualmie had a more serious goal in mind than just enjoying the gentle caresses of a fresh breeze – nothing less than a bona fide world record.
At their clothing-free park, (read: nudist colony), off the Issaquah-Hobart Road on Saturday, Fraternity Snoqualmie members stripped down to their birthday suits and hit the pool in an attempt to break the world record they set last year for the most people in a skinny dip. A Guinness Book of World Record’s official was on hand to keep things on the up and up.
In what was a big weekend for Fraternity Snoqualmie, the skinny dip was followed by the annual Bare Buns Fun Run (BBFR), a clothing optional race around Tiger Mountain.
