artEAST will hold a studio and seconds sale from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31 to Sunday, Feb. 3.
Artists will deeply discount works and slightly flawed pieces, as well as offer extra tools, materials, and art supplies to shoppers.
Participating artists are drawn from the artEAST membership and there will be offerings in all mediums: Sculpture, two-dimensional works of all types, fiber, jewelry, ceramics and more.
Proceeds from the artEAST portion of the studio sale will fund the newly established Harvey Scholarship Fund, with the goal of reducing the cost of workshops and classes to students who might not otherwise be able to participate.
The fund namesakes are artEAST founding members and long-time supporters Deby and Donn Harvey, who recently retired from the board of directors. artEAST’S goal is to launch the scholarship during the Fall 2013 Term.
