The city of Sammamish invites locals’ inner child, and their actual child, to explore over 20 community helper vehicles, from rescue vehicles to patrol cars to excavators, at the annual Rig-A-Palooza event on May 19 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Sammamish Commons.
This free event is a great way to explore vehicles while interacting with community helpers to discover how they keep our city safe, clean and ‘FUN-ctioning.’ In addition to exploring vehicles, children of all ages can enjoy bouncy houses, face painting, balloon animals, and food trucks.
“Rig-A-Palooza is a fun way to give the community in an opportunity to have fun exploring vehicles while getting to interact with the individuals that serve them such as police officers, fire fighters, and public works staff,” said Parks and Recreation director Angie Feser in a press release.
