The $65,000 raised on the night represents about 2.5 percent of the $2.5 million required this fiscal year for the North Bend-based organization to operate its variety of programs to serve children and families in Issaquah, Sammamish and the Snoqualmie Valley.

Since 1966, Encompass’ mission to provide preschool services for their children with special needs has expanded to include many programs under one banner, encompassing the family support needs of an entire community.

Encompass programs are designed to provide a network of support and education, giving each family the tools they need to help their children reach their full potential and are based on prominent research in the fields of child development, family management and abuse prevention.
