Interested in learning about bears in your backyard?
The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife will host an engaging presentation for the people of Issaquah and Sammamish on co-existing with bears. The appearance of bears and other wildlife in back yards and green spaces is a relatively common aspect of life in Issaquah and Sammamish, and the presentation, by Wildlife Biologist Julie Hopkins and Chris Moszeter from the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, will provide valuable information on how to best treat and respond to our animal neighbors.
Bring your children, friends and neighbors to this fun, educational event on Tuesday, May 12, at Blakely Hall, 2550 NE Park Drive, Issaquah, from 7 to 8 p.m.
