The Issaquah History Museums will host its fourth annual train show at the Issaquah Depot between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1.

Model trains will be on display, and in motion. The Northwest Pacific Z Scalers will have their z-scale (very small) layouts on display, as well as a variety of other scales.

Come enjoy the LEGO trains, watch the Garden RR, blow the air horn, and ride the pump car.

Kids of all ages can put together their own train layouts in a dedicated play area.

The Depot’s own layout will also be operating in the Army Car.

Constructed by Stan Espeseth, a longtime member and volunteer, the scale model represents the Burlington Northern line between Issaquah and Woodinville, circa 1975.

Attendance at the train show is free with museum admission ($2 for adults, $1 for children, family passes available).
