It’s not too late to let out your inner ghoul.
Nightmare at Beaver Lake held its volunteer orientation Saturday and Sunday, but continues to welcome helping hands. The 10th annual Halloween scare fest is seeking youth and adult volunteers for a variety of roles, especially actors.
A mini-orientation will be held 10 a.m. Oct. 12 and Oct. 13, before actor training from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Both will take place at the Beaver Lake Park Lodge.
In addition to acting, Nightmare always seeks volunteers for work behind the scenes, including but not limited to casting, construction, security, driving, line control, traffic control, ticket sales and food service.
Nightmare is an all-volunteer event with all the proceeds going to charity. It is produced by the Rotary Club of Sammamish in partnership with Scare Productions and the city of Sammamish.
