Christian rapper and collaborator, KJ-52, will perform a free concert at 7 p.m., Saturday, April 20 at Sammamish Presbyterian Church.
A multiple Dove Award winner, KJ-52 recently released his album, Dangerous, which offers much to relate to for listeners of faith and the mainstream scene.
KJ-52 puts a microscope towards his own regrets and shortcomings as well as chronicling a series of compelling issues like drugs, divorce and racism — even the prejudice that sometimes pops up within the church’s walls.
The rapper has collaborated for acts like TobyMac, Newsboys and Thousand Foot Crutch.
Isaac Stinson, Redmond High School student, will open for KJ-52.
Doors open at 6 p.m. A freewill offering will be taken to support KJ-52’s music.
