As Father’s Day rounds the corner, so does the 17th annual Fenders on Front Street in Issaquah. The June 16 event will sprawl down Front Street in historic downtown and showcase over 100 classic and vintage cars and motorcycles.
The Sunday event will span from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Throughout the day, live music will play, food trucks will park around the event, and judges will rank cars — presenting awards at the historic Shell station at 232 Front St. N. from 2 to 2:45 p.m., according to the Fenders on Front Street website.
Before the car show, from 7 to 11 a.m., a Father’s Day breakfast will be held at the Issaquah Eagles Club at 175 Front St. N.
Each family who attends and each individual showcasing their vehicle is encouraged to donate up to $20 to support the Downtown Issaquah Association, which hosts the event, and the Life Enrichment Options (LEO) organization.
The LEO organization is a nonprofit advocating for and supporting individuals with disabilities through supportive housing, recreation, employment opportunities and community education.
Individuals interested in showcasing their car can pre-register on the event website or register on the day of the event starting at 6 a.m. The Fenders of Front Street website strongly suggests cars be registered.
