In support of 35th Annual Nude Recreation Week, July 5-11, Fraternity Snoqualmie Family Nudist Park will celebrate what is becoming a local skinny dipping tradition – an attempt at another world record. Members of Fraternity Snoqualmie, who have owned and run the nudist park located three miles outside of Issaquah since 1945, invite everyone to spend the weekend with them — naturally.

Saturday marks the second annual Guinness World Record Skinny Dip. The group set the record at last year’s inaugural event. The skinny dip begins at noon and sign up starts at 10 a.m.

Participants don’t have to be members to join in the festivities. In conformance with the stated rules, however, all participants must be completely nude during the skinny dip to be counted. As with all Guinness World Record events, all record attempts must be verified by a designated “member in standing” of the local community.

The 19th Annual Clothing Optional Bare Buns Fun Run (BBFR) will also take place this weekend, at 11 a.m., Sunday.

BBFR is a clothing optional 5k fun run up the side of Tiger Mountain starting and ending at Fraternity Snoqualmie Family Nudist Park.

Day of Race participants can catch the shuttle bus between 8 and 10 a.m. at the Tibbett’s Valley Park N’ Ride. From I-90 take Exit 15 West, turn left at Newport Way NW. Carpools of three or more may stop at the Park & Ride for a car pass to drive directly to the park.

Awards will be given to top three runners in all age divisions, plus random prizes.
