The city of Issaquah will screen the 1986 sports comedy “The Best of Times” in the City Hall Eagle Room 7 p.m. tomorrow, March 14.
The film stars Robin Williams as a banker who finds himself obsessed with the dropped pass that caused Taft High School’s 1972 football team to lose a crosstown rivalry match against Bakersfield. He recruits the game’s quarterback (played by Kurt Russell) into a staged rematch that introduces new life to their hometown and their personal lives.
The city screens old films as part of its Second Saturday film series. Films are shown, as the name suggests, the second Saturday of each month.
The City Hall Eagle Room is located at 130 East Sunset Way.
