For those people who still haven’t seen the Village Theatre’s production of “Stunt Girl,” this week is the perfect time to catch it before it moves on.
And you can take a friend for free, thanks to the folks at the Village Theatre, who will hold a 2 for 1 sale this Wednesday, April 15.
Stunt Girl, The Amazing True Adventures of Nellie Bly, has been a big hit with audiences since it opened in Issaquah last month.
And there is plenty more for local musical fans to celebrate on April 15.
Like Stunt Girl, the musical “Next To Normal” was developed by Village Theatre’s Village Originals program here in Issaquah, and on Wednesday will open on Broadway.
Brian Yorkey, a graduate of Issaquah High School graduate, and the director of Village Theatre’s The Importance of Being Earnest, wrote the book and lyrics for Next To Normal, and so it’s debut on Broadway is a great thrill for him and the local theater community.
Readers can redeem the 2 for 1 ticket offer by calling the Village Theatre Box Office at 425-392-2202 on Wednesday, April 15, between the hours of 11 a.m. and 7 p.m., and use the promotion code “Broadway.”
