The state will close all lanes of SR 520 this weekend from Montlake Boulevard in Seattle across the floating bridge to I-405 in Bellevue.

The lanes will close beginning at 11 p.m. Friday and will reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, Feb. 27.

The closure will allow construction crews to install 40 huge concrete girders at two overpasses. Thirty are planned at 84th Avenue Northeast and another 10 at Bellevue Way Northeast.

As part of the work, crews also will completely close Bellevue Way Northeast between Northeast 32nd Place and Northup Way at 11 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, and reopen by 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25.
