Anytime Fitness, a 24-hour fitness center, opened this weekend in the Klahanie Shopping Center. The public is invited to attend the free event at 4 p.m Saturday.

The grand opening featured fitness challenges and music; beverages and food were provided.

Anytime Fitness owner David Tilton secured his lease for the location in January.

Anytime Fitness, a worldwide franchise with more than 2,700 locations, replaced Klahanie Fitness in the shopping center.

Tilton completely renovated the 6,000-square-foot space to meet national Anytime Fitness standards before opening.

“We are absolutely excited to present a newly renovated fitness club to the Klahanie community,” Anytime Fitness Member Experience Manager Jay Rabena wrote in an email.

The business has one-year membership terms, month-to-month memberships and pay-in-full options available. It also offers a seven-day guest pass for those who want to try the facility out.
