Arrested bank robber linked to Issaquah hold-up

The arrest yesterday of an armed robbery suspect in Seattle has been linked to a Feb. 4 Issaquah bank robbery, according to the FBI. Seattle Police Det. Mark Jamieson identified the suspect as 29-year-old Seattle resident Scott Allan Ritter in a Feb. 9 armed robbery of a Key Bank branch on Westlake Avenue North in Seattle. FBI spokesperson Fred Gutt later confirmed the suspect, Ritter, is also a person of interest in similar armed robberies of a Bank of Washington branch in Issaquah on Feb. 4 and a Homestead Bank branch in Seattle Jan. 25. Police and SWAT teams surrounded Ritter’s University district apartment building and made the arrest, locating stolen cash and a a pellet gun that was an exact replica of a real firearm.
