Big Fish Grill donates $1000 to Seattle Children’s Hospital

Carrie Orrico, owner of Big Fish Grill, presented a $1,000 check to Katie Fath of the Seattle Children’s Hospital Foundation on July 11.

 

Carrie Orrico, owner of Big Fish Grill, presented a $1,000 check to Katie Fath of the Seattle Children’s Hospital Foundation on July 11.  The funds were raised from a wine-tasting event held in the private dining room at the restaurant June 24.

The event featured John Bigelow of JM Cellars in Woodinville. Bigelow presented a select group of his wines to 28 attendees and shared stories about how he entered the wine business, the current wine culture and growing grapes in the state of Washington.

Orrico and her family have a special connection with Seattle Children’s Hospital. Her daughter, Becca, passed away from leukemia in 2001​ at the age of 10​ and was treated at the hospital for more than seven years.
