“Evacuate the school or a bomb will go off Friday,” was scrawled on the boy’s bathroom wall at Skyline High School Dec. 19.
The incident was immediately investigated including a canine unit with officers performing a sweep of the entire school that night. No bomb or suspicious items were found.
A letter was sent out to all Skyline parents Dec. 20, that read “After hours of searching the building with a special canine team, local police discovered no bomb or any other suspicious items. The police are following leads and will continue to investigate the source of the threat. In any situation where there is even a possibility of danger for students or staff, we will always take every precaution necessary until the threat is dispelled.”
