ASSAULT: At 12:57 a.m. in the 22000 block of SE 33rd St., a man punched his girlfriend in the face and then drove away in a blue Toyota, despite having a suspended license.
Sept. 27
CAR WINDOW SMASHED: A resident at the Madison Apartments, located in the 3000 block of 231st Lane SE, reported his vehicle had been broken into overnight. The rear-passenger window had been smashed and the vehicle registration was taken.
Sept. 28
CAR PROWL: At 8:40 p.m., a woman reported items stolen from her vehicle while she was inside the Bartells in the 500 block of 228th Ave. NE.
Sept. 29
GETTING UNHITCHED: At 8:15 a.m., a man in the 3000 block of 255th Ave. SE reported his utility trailer had been stolen. The man reported the suspect took the trailer hitch off of his pickup truck, used it to hook the trailer and drove off with it.
Sept. 30
DUI: At 2:54 a.m., police responded to reports of a potential kidnapping taking place involving a red Jeep Wrangler. Police stopped the vehicle in the 24100 block of SE 32nd St. None of the occupants reported being held against their will, though police detected alcohol on the driver’s breath. The driver was arrested for DUI and booked into King County Jail.
FRAUD: A resident in the 22500 block of NE 14th Drive received a promotional email from “Solar City” offering $300 if she wrapped her vehicle in an advertisement graphic. She began correspondence and later received an email stating she would need to deposit a $1,750 check sent to her, withdraw money and send $300 to the graphic artist. She became suspicious and turned the check over to police.

ANGRY TENANTS VANDALIZE HOME: A landlord for property in the 1700 block of 211th Place NE reported the residence had been severely vandalized. The previous tenants were served a vacate notice on Sept. 8 and left sometime between then and Sept. 16. Carpet was stained, kitchen cabinet doors were ripped off and scattered and walls had been spray-painted. Police reported the damages to be over $1,500.

CAR PROWL: A resident in the 24400 block of NE 27th Place reported his unlocked vehicle in his driveway had been prowled.
Oct. 4
STOLEN CABINETS: At 7:51 a.m., police responded to a residential burglary from a new home under construction. The kitchen cabinets were stolen from the construction site.
Oct. 6
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: At 12:09 p.m., police responded to a burglary at Public Storage, located in the 23000 block of NE 8th St. The suspect broke in by removing a back panel of the storage unit.
STRANGER DANGER: At 6:54 p.m., police responded to a report of strange contact between two 10-year-old girls and an adult male at a community park located at Southeast 5th Place and 238th Avenue Southeast.
Oct. 7
HIT-AND-RUN: At 1:36 a.m., police responded to a hit-and-run at Endeavour Elementary, located in the 26200 block of SE Issaquah-Fall City Road. The driver of an unknown BMW vehicle collided with street signs and fencing and fled the scene.
STOLEN PLATES: At 8:03 a.m., a resident at the Summerwalk Apartments, located in the 3800 block of Klahanie Drive SE, reported both their vehicle license plates had been stolen.
CLOWN THREAT: At 9:16 a.m., a clown threat was reported at Beaver Lake Middle School, located in the 25000 block of SE 32nd St., via an Instagram post.
FAKE RETAILER: At 2:28 p.m., police responded to a report of an unknown male subject representing a fake company and selling book subscriptions for a children’s hospital at the Knoll Apartments, located in the 22600 block of NE Inglewood Hill Road.
Oct. 8
ATTEMPTED AUTO THEFT: At 11:32 p.m., a resident at the Highland Gardens Apartments, located in the 4500 block of Klahanie Drive SE, reported an unknown person tried to steal his vehicle and punched the ignition.
Oct. 9
FORCED ENTRY THEFT: At 5:51 a.m., a resident in the 21000 block of SE 28th Place reported a theft from their car. The passenger window was broken in the theft.
