Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park will host an open house celebrating the completion of the parks’ new Sunset Beach Bathhouse July 7 at 5 p.m.
The event, located at Lake Sammamish State Park, will begin with a ribbon-cutting. The Sammamish Symphony quartet will also play during the event.
The park is located at 2000 Northwest Sammamish Road, Issaquah.

On Jan. 8, education leaders and PTAs from Mercer Island, Renton, Bellevue, Issaquah and Lake Washington will discuss shortfalls in educational funding from the state.
The legislation will ease expenses for businesses and homeowners.
