The cities of Issaquah and Sammamish are encouraging residents to stay off roads due to hazardous travel conditions early Monday evening.

The city of Sammamish is reporting several traffic accidents within the city due to steady snowfall from Monday afternoon, with accidents occurring along 244th Avenue Northeast. The city also reported accidents have occurred along 228th Avenue and at the intersection of Inglewood Hill Road and East Lake Sammamish Parkway.
City road crews have plows on the roads. Drivers who become stuck are instructed to move their vehicle as far to the side of the road as possible. Drivers are also instructed not to abandon their vehicles.
