City expects Issaquah Creek to crest below the flood line, more rain in the forecast

The city expects that Issaquah Creek’s waters crested Sunday, after heavy rains brought floods throughout much of Western Washington.

While no flooding is expected to come from the wet weekend in Issaquah, there could still be localized flooding from clogged drainage systems.

The creek was still flowing high Monday. A receptor blockade at the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery was almost hidden beneath the water.
