Tori Berntsen will present a two-night class on parenting middle-school students at Pacific Cascade Middle School in February.
The free class, “Parenting Middle Schoolers With Love and Logic,” will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. On Feb. 10 and 24. Topics will include:
- Taking some of the stress out of parenting and add more fun back into the family;
- Learning how to discipline without lectures, threats and warnings; and
- Learning how to stay cool, calm and collected in front of kids.
Berntsen has facilitated the class for 15 years and is a Golden Acorn Award recipient with experience teaching middle school and college level.
