On Saturday, May 16, Issaquah History Museums will host an interpretive hike of the Issaquah-Superior mine site.

The walking tour will focus on the operations of the Issaquah & Superior Mining Company, from the 1860s until the 1920s, and will visit the remains of mine entrances from this era.

Hikers will meet at the Issaquah Depot at 10 a.m. for a brief presentation on the history of Issaquah’s mining operations, to be followed by a 2.5 hour hike covering two miles over easy/moderate terrain.
